Prince Street Cafe set to open third location in Columbia, PA

Prince Street Cafe will open a third location at 301 Locust Street, taking the place of Cafe 301, which closed in late November.

With existing locations in Lancaster and York, we've sought to create warm, welcoming, and exceptional cafe experiences for visitors, businesses, and local residents alike. And when developer, Don Murphy, approached us about the potential to open a new location in Columbia, the choice was obvious. Recent developments in housing, entertainment, and tourism provide the right mix of ingredients for the Prince Street Cafe model to thrive while easy access off route 30 makes this location an ideal meeting point for friends and colleagues from throughout the region.

Cafe 301’s brick-and-mortar location closed on November 27th after 4 years of serving the Columbia community so that owner/operator, Laurie Myers, could take her business mobile with a new food truck. We are so thankful for the foundation she laid and are excited to be able to provide continuity of service to the Columbia community after losing this key downtown business.

Prince Street Cafe plans to open in early 2023 after completing minor renovations and updates to the space with hours of operation from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. It will serve breakfast favorites, fresh salads, and delicious sandwiches alongside specialty coffee roasted by Necessary Coffee in Lancaster, PA.
